Palworld hosting: everything you need to know
Palworld took off by blending monster-collector-style creature capture, survival and automation in an open world. On a dedicated server it hosts up to 32 players, but its Unreal engine is highly sensitive to CPU frequency: performance drops arrive quickly on busy servers or heavily developed bases.
Nexus Games hosts your Palworld server on the Ryzen 9 7950X3D at 5.7 GHz, which avoids performance drops with up to 32 players. You adjust spawn rates, difficulty and raid settings from NexusPanel, apply updates in one click and secure your world with automatic backups. Instant delivery and Anti-DDoS included for your team.

Frequently asked questions · Palworld server
Up to 32 on a dedicated world. Larger, older or busier worlds want more RAM, which is why Palworld is billed by memory rather than a fixed slot count.
Yes. Palworld supports Steam, Xbox and Game Pass crossplay since recent updates; it is enabled in the server configuration.
Everything is set in PalWorldSettings.ini via NexusPanel: difficulty, XP, capture, drop rates and day/night speed.
The dedicated server's memory use climbs during long uptimes, so a scheduled restart every few hours (built into NexusPanel's scheduled tasks) clears it before it can cause problems.
This is a known behaviour of the Palworld dedicated server: its memory use grows steadily while it runs, and once it climbs high enough the tick rate drops, movement rubber-bands and Pals start behaving oddly. It is not your connection or your hardware, a restart clears it immediately. The fix is to schedule an automatic restart every 6 to 12 hours in NexusPanel, with a backup taken just before, so the server resets itself overnight and your players never meet the slowdown. Keep the restart outside your community's peak hours and announce it in advance.
Plan for 8 to 16 GB for a small group or a young world, and 24 GB or more for an active 32-player world that has been running for a while. The important thing to understand is that load comes far more from the number of bases, structures and active Pals working in them than from how many players are connected, a world with four players and a dozen sprawling automated bases can be heavier than a busy one that is barely built. Watch your memory use as your save grows and move up a plan when it starts running close to the ceiling. Our DDR5 ECC plans scale accordingly, and the RAM you order is dedicated to your server.
Your local world lives in the Palworld saved-games folder on your PC, in a folder named after the world ID. Stop your Nexus Games server, then upload that save folder into the server's save directory via WebFTP, keeping the same structure, and point the server's save name at it before starting up again. Take a backup of both the local save and the server's existing world first, the transfer overwrites what is there. Note that player characters are tied to the save's own IDs, so expect some players to have to re-create their character after the move.
Unreal is single-thread, so clock speed rules: our Ryzen 9 7950X3D at 5.7 GHz avoids group slowdowns, while Gen4 NVMe keeps saves safe, slow storage can corrupt Palworld save data.
Palworld is a paid game.
