GTA 6 hosting: everything you need to know

Hosting a GTA 6 server is not possible yet, and it is better to say so plainly. The game launches on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series, with no PC version announced so far. Community servers, the ones that have carried GTA roleplay for a decade, run on PC. Until the game is available on PC, and until a multiplayer framework has been built and stabilised, no host can deliver a GTA 6 server.

What you can do is lay the groundwork. A roleplay server is not defined by its technology but by its community, its rules, its economy and its moderation team, and all of that can be built today on FiveM and will carry over completely. On our side, the infrastructure that will host those servers is already in production: Ryzen 9 7950X3D at 5.7 GHz, DDR5 ECC memory, NVMe storage, permanent Anti-DDoS and NexusPanel. We will not open pre-registrations and will bill nothing before a product actually exists.

What you can do with your GTA 6 server

Confirmed release: 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series
No PC version announced, and that is what gates community servers
The multiplayer framework that would make roleplay possible still has to be built
Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM, has belonged to Rockstar since 2023
What you can prepare today: your RP world, your rules, your economy, your moderation team
The slowest thing to build is the community itself, so start there
Our infrastructure already runs in production on FiveM: Ryzen 9 7950X3D, DDR5 ECC, NVMe, Anti-DDoS
No pre-registration, no deposit: we bill nothing before a product exists

Frequently asked questions · GTA 6 server

No. The game is not out, and no community multiplayer framework exists for it. No host anywhere can deliver a GTA 6 server today, whatever the promises on their page.

The main gate is a PC release, since community servers run on PC, and none has been announced. Once the game is on PC, the framework itself will still need time to be built, tested and stabilised. FiveM took several years to reach maturity.

Nothing has been announced. Rockstar has historically shipped GTA on console first, then on PC anywhere from several months to over a year later. That is the most likely path given the precedents, but it is not a confirmation.

That is what the whole community expects, and several signals point that way: Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the FiveM team, rather than shutting it down, and launched an official marketplace. Even so, nothing has been made official for GTA 6.

Nothing suggests so. Community roleplay servers have always relied on the PC version of the game, which allows client-side modification. On PS5 and Xbox Series, that kind of modification is not permitted by the platforms. Barring an official Rockstar solution, PC-only roleplay remains the most likely outcome.

No, and we do not offer it. If a host asks for a deposit or a subscription to "reserve" your GTA 6 server, treat it as a red flag: they are selling something they cannot deliver.

Nobody can answer that honestly today. Pricing will depend on the real CPU, memory and bandwidth needs of the game and its framework, all unknown at this stage. We will publish a price list when the product exists.

By running one on FiveM. It is the most useful preparation there is: you build your community, refine your rules, balance your economy and train your moderation team. The technology will change with the new game; everything else carries over completely.

No, do not count on it. New engine, new map, new asset formats: technical resources will have to be rebuilt. What transfers is your world design and your operational experience.

The infrastructure that will run those servers is already in production here: Ryzen 9 7950X3D machines at 5.7 GHz, DDR5 ECC memory, NVMe storage, permanent Anti-DDoS and NexusPanel, all running our FiveM servers today. When the time comes it will be a matter of adding a game, not building a platform.

Your GTA 6 server is hosted in US East, on our Ryzen 9 7950X3D infrastructure with a 1 Gbit/s network and permanent Anti-DDoS protection. That proximity keeps latency low and stable for your players.

Yes. Download the files from your current server (world, configs, mods) and upload them through NexusPanel's WebFTP: you keep your progress, your settings and your add-ons. Our support team can guide you on Discord if needed.

Automatic backups are schedulable from NexusPanel (daily by default, adjustable frequency) and restorable in one click. You can also trigger a manual backup before an update or a mod installation.
