What is RLCraft?
RLCraft turns Minecraft into a punishing survival game where the first ten nights are counted in attempts. With friends you split up thirst, temperature and dragon taming — and the pack stays on Forge 1.12.2, the version its author never left.
Adventure packs generate a lot of structures and NPCs: the load comes from exploration, so it peaks when the group spreads out across the map.
Installing RLCraft on your server
Two sides to prepare: the server, from the panel, and your own game, which needs the same pack in the same version.
Server side

- 2In NexusPanel, open the modpack installer and search for “RLCraft”.
- 3Start the install: the panel fetches the pack and Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2, then restarts the server on it.
Player side
Install RLCraft from the CurseForge app, Prism Launcher or the Modrinth app: they download the pack and Forge for you. Then add your server address, shown in NexusPanel.
Versions must match exactly between server and client: a single modpack version apart is enough for the connection to be refused.
How much RAM for a RLCraft server?
We recommend the 12 GB tier for RLCraft, and it is the one priced above. A modpack uses memory per loaded mod before it uses any per player: the pack sets the tier, the number of connected players only fine-tunes it.
You can change tier at any time from your client area, prorated and without losing your progress.

The 12 GB tier is the one we recommend for RLCraft. Below it the server still boots, but world loading times and TPS degrade as soon as several players explore at the same time.
Which Minecraft version and which mod loader?
RLCraft runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2. The panel installs both together: no server jar to upload, no Forge to configure.
How do I install RLCraft on my server?
From NexusPanel: open the modpack installer, search for “RLCraft”, pick the version and start. The server restarts on the pack. No FTP access is needed, although it stays available.
How many players on a RLCraft server?
Our Minecraft plans are sold by RAM, not by slot count: memory is what sets the practical limit. The 12 GB tier suits a group of friends; beyond about ten players exploring at the same time, move up one tier.
Can I switch modpacks later?
Yes, as often as you like: the panel's installer offers more than 10,000 CurseForge modpacks and 9 distributions (Paper, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Mohist…). Back up your world before switching packs — a world is not compatible from one modpack to another.
